Merida, Yuc. (elgordogringo.com.mx) August 1, 2021.- TLeones starting pitcher Logan Ondrusek has signed with the San Francisco Giants and could soon make his return to the Major Leagues.
After shining in his first year as a starter for the Yucatan Lions– an ERA of 2,38 through 44 innings allowing 44 hits, 13 runs with 50 strikeouts– the Texas native received the call from the Major League club to join their Triple A branch with the purpose of being promoted to the Big Show soon which makes sense as the Giants failed to add a starting pitcher to their rotation before the July 30th trade deadline.
Logan previously played six years in the majors for the Cincinnati Reds and Baltimore Orioles. He has played in the Japanese League for two years before being called up by the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals organizations.
